1. Performance
The new Mazda CX-50 comes with a 2.5-liter engine (187 Horsepower) or a turbocharged 2.5 liter inline four (256 Horsepower) that provides a strong swell of low-end torque. The CX-50 can tow up to 3,500 pounds (depending on the model) compared to the CX-5, which can currently tow up to 2,000 pounds.
The CX-50 has a six-speed automatic transmission that shifts crisply and accurately predicts your desired gear.
Compared to most mainstream vehicles, engaging the CX-50 in sport mode actually does something. It firms up the steering and the throttle mapping is snappier, which improves acceleration by a few tenths.
The new 2023 CX-50 accelerates from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 6.6 seconds and obtained an impressive 0.87 g on the skidpad.
Every Mazda CX-50 comes with all-wheel drive and four different driving modes; normal, sport, towing, and off-road.
The Fuel economy is 24 city and 30 highway.
A hybrid model and an electric model of the Mazda CX-50 are in the works that will offer even better fuel economy.
